…the story continues

In recent years, we’ve been the most written about Children and Families Service in the country. And Ofsted are the latest people to have had their say.

Their second progress report identified dramatic improvements across the Service. You’ll find the full story here, but key points included higher staff morale, better supervision and strong support systems – all of which were playing their part in more effective service delivery.

But now the hard work really begins. Good is nowhere near good enough for our children and families; we’re aiming for excellence. We don’t ever want to stop improving. We want to reach, and then go beyond, outstanding. To get there, we need talented and experienced professionals who are prepared to give their all. And in return, we’ll provide challenging work and exceptional support in a team that will make a difference.
